I briefly checked the link you sent. Suou blocked me unilaterally first, and I can still purchase works from other creators on the platform without any issues. I even found out unagi4545 blocked me too.
Was it only recently that you were blocked by Suou?

Another Cunny enjoyer?

Anyways the character name is Vulpes Sofie, Upset_Skeleton made her, but they don't post anymore. . .actually they just completely dropped off the face of the internet all together. I remember someone on F95 saying people was making profit on their stuff which they made for free.

If you don't want the yap, here > https://db.bepis.moe/koikatsu/view/278384
I really appreciate you sharing the cards you use, thank you!
I would take your entire collection if I could 😭💢

What a way to "bottleneck" your card sales, LMAO. 🤣
IKR, then again, they are a marked creator. People who are in the Koikatsu space long enough will eventually know who the marked creators are. It builds a reputation of artificial scarcity which preys on people's and even pirates' minds that there's a high chance that it won't get leaked. Therefore, if I want their cards and I was blocked, I have to make a new patreon with a new email, connect my payment system, then subscribe to them. It really sucks, but it does work even at the cost of this difficult hassle to those who really want their cards. And if I am blocked again and I still want it, I have to go through that entire headache inducing process again making me think again if I am going to risk getting banned.

I mean, look at OoOoO (LOR), you gotta subscribe to him for 3 months first before you get your cards. If you get banned, you gotta go through the 3 month waiting period again. Worse, if you're new, you gotta wait till the next rule change to get accepted because your pixiv ID has to be less than 112345678 to even subscribe to begin with.

And the fact that Ltsuki is still posting cards means that there's some rich gooner buying it still. He wouldn't be at it this long if there wasn't at least 1 client (and that still is a lot of money btw) If someone is willing to pay for it, who am I to dictate how they should use their money when they are that wealthy or have that much disposable income.

Anyone remember this? If you don't know, these were called "Bored Apes" and they were a type of NFT. And guess what, have EVEN less functionality than a card on bepis. It's literally an image of a copy pasted monkey with little variation. YET, people still bought them. I am complete awe that people thought that these Bored Ape monkey images are so valuable that they even complained and ranted about people screenshotting it because they "own the rights to the image". It had this crypto blockchain BS value that anyone who thought they had value bought it anyway.

"But Bubnub, what's your point in this? What does that have to do with Koikatsu?"

My point is that, regardless if I perceive it as stupid and as a "waste of money", people still bought it regardless. Just look at the Bored Apes value in 2024. A single Bored Ape is beyond what anyone in the Koikatsu community can afford. Yet the difference is, unlike Bored Apes which people were jokingly screenshotting, Koikatsu cards can't just be screenshotted to be owned. It has to be fully functional. Even so, Bored Apes or any image NFT had monetary value in the crypto community regardless if it was literal image of shit (it existed btw and in 2022 it was roughly $2000). So people still bought NFTs and this stupid monkey thinking it had that value, until it dropped in value in today's standards which ultimately proves that it was not as valuable as people thought it was. Google Justin Bieber's NFT, it really was just sad sight to see, but I don't feel bad at all. but it is still very expenisve

Picture this guys, imagine an alternative timeline where Koikatsu WAS an NFT, and corporations approved of marked cards of their characters priced at the same ones as Ltuski or even more. It's literally depressing to think about it because regardless if people are screenshotting the character, they can't use it at all. There was a functionality side to it. Marked cards having this cryptic marking makes you think that even if you screenshot it, it still had it's unique marking per user. If the company found out it was leaked, they have the power to drop the monetary value. So the leaker is more scared of leaking something this valuable. Then you have people making posts like this:

I got the cards here btw

But yes, this is the exact attitude people will have if KK cards were in fact NFTs. But even then, you have people like Earthship who cards a insane amount of money for their content, and her clients still buys them. Or suou where you are pressured to subscribe in order get a card that won't be available anymore because old cards are not being sold or distributed officially where it capitalizes on FOMO for a card. It is these predatory practices even among KK creators that's really unfortunate to see, but due to how things are, it's not going to change anytime soon.

If you read this far, I thank you. I too am disappointed to see marked cards I can't afford to obtain. IRL takes priority, that's why I'm here. I am honestly trying to learn this software and their techniques, but it is quite difficult ngl. I wish there were more tutorials by these experienced creators, but I know that won't happen. Why? Because why will these paid creators help their potential competition? I am honestly so glad there are creators that put out tutorials, and there's the KK discord who helps people out in modding. Problem is, it's all in different sites and scattered everywhere. I know there are Chinese tutorials, but I can't even read that. And to be on the level of Anna Anon, LOR, Hatoko, Ltsuki, Earthship, Juedge, and others, there's not much comprehesive advanced stuff to learn how to do it (unless there is and I'm unaware).
