First of all, thank you for uploading your scenes. From now on, I will only share video links.
Now, getting to the main point: you mentioned that you need to directly manage the links you share, but there are already a few comments asking for reuploads on GoFile as well.
If we follow your logic, doesn’t that mean you aren’t actually managing them directly?
The same applies to making passwords so complex that they’re practically unsolvable puzzles.
Next, you listed three practical reasons for not sharing the author’s MEGA link. However, even if you were sending me hateful messages, I don’t care what anyone who supports people violating Koikatsu’s Terms of Service has to say.
You also mentioned that the link disappears quickly, but even after an hour, the link was still there. I believe some people were able to download it during that time.
Finally, as a side note, I was one of the original creators of the Koikatsu game itself.
I was just a lowly junior staff member, but I’m proud to have been involved in making this game.
However, due to illegal uploaders and paid modders, the game’s sales were dismal, and the company went bankrupt.
When I think about how the money paid to those paid modders could have gone to the company instead, I can’t help but feel intense hatred.
If I had my way, I’d want those paid creators to use the money they earned to buy up massive quantities of *Aikomi*, the spiritual sequel.

It's not. It seems this guy has a massive vendetta against paywallers. He kept publishing Sugardust's links until he got Sugardust's mega account banned. And it seems he wants to do the same to Tachumi now.
I mean, I understand not appreciating paywalling, it does suck the life out of this hobby. But what he's doing is kind of ridiculous.

Good luck with Kobo, only half decent card I ever found had more textures than Destiny 2 and it wasn't even that good.Does anyone have any good Chloe's, Towa's and Kobo's Cards?

Odd. Very odd. I hope this isn't a change in mind about him sharing stuff. But if I remember correct you needed to follow whats similarly outlined here but for this scene maker instead when making a "My Pixiv Request". Type out a brief friendly message (recommend in Japanese) about following his works in the message box that appears, submit and hope for the best. Also before making that request be sure to like and favorite only not just his works, but a few other artists as well.

most likely not, it dont have the balls to do it.
blaming the poor sales of koikatsu to modder because they make more money than the company itself when the said company rarely optimize, releasing dlc or making an improvement to the games that it already release and instead more focus on churning out new game each year and abandon the old one soon after.
funny if we compare it to KISS, they not churning out new games each year lately instead milking the bejesus out of COM3D2

Paywalling is hypocritical from the start because these creators are using the HF patch (free, fanmade), the xukmi shaders (free, fanmade) and the KKUS/KKUTS shaders (free, fanmade), use scenes to display their character (yes those too) that use the Conquestus furniture, accessories and maps mod (you guessed it), using most QOL of life mods that allow for easier use of accessories and character creations (yes those are free too)
Hell, they probably use a pirated copy of KK to boot
You're basically building your paid content off a mountain of content that was made for free by your predecessors for years and years
If KK still existed in its original form and none of those mods were accessible, their own content would not be possible.
If they had to pay for all of the mentionned above, a paid content creator would themselves have to pay somewhere in the range of 500 to 2000 dollars worth of licenses and subs a month to have access to all this content
They couldn't make any of their content in those conditions
Asking for compensation for private commissions would be ok, so is doing like Yurabe where your content is free and you just ask people to support if they can.
But the current status of paywalled content in Koikatsu is doing more to discourage people from getting into it or to keep making content in it, since every time something cool or a really nice character card comes along, you have to pay for them
