Also, agreed with Sigma that stated previously, criticizing paywalled authors in a way that feels like blatant ragebait. would not product anything helpful or positive outcomes other than creating unnecessary drama and the community would even lose more creators along the way.
On the contrary, simply continuing to share and help one another increases the chances of more content being shared instead of gated.

Even marked cards, commission cards or some expensive cards such as Ltsuki are eventually shared in the end.

Also, agreed with matonashi statement about the best middle ground being free access with Patreon as optional to pay author as a respect for their hardwork. For me, it felt like paying a good street performer that used a public walkway as a performance stage, and anyone can access to the performance itself, a good old day community.


Now, I'm crawling back to my hole again.

And if the scene or card is not free right away then at least if you have to charge only do it for the first month or 2. Then make it free like Apuri does.
