I played it at the premiere, and I highly recommend it to anyone unfamiliar with it. It's a really cool platformer, and the H-scenes are absolutely gorgeous.(someone must call the goblin slayer.) illusionsoft/illgame, could take inspiration on how to create decent poses. I have a story to share.
I mentioned earlier that this action was my revenge for the disappearance of a free distributor I used to like,
but there are other reasons as well.
I believe this other reason is the most significant underlying principle behind my actions this time.
To be honest, I was reluctant to share this story because I feared his death would be permanently etched into the internet,
but I felt that if I didn’t speak up, I might end up regretting it later, so I’m sharing it here.
I mentioned earlier that something good had happened, but shortly after that, the worst possible thing happened to me.
To cut to the chase, a friend of mine committed suicide.
He was a low-level staff member like me, handling various tasks, but when ILLUSION went bankrupt, we were all scattered.
Some people didn’t let that get them down and moved on to other parts of the gaming industry, but my friend and I found it very difficult to find new jobs.
I gave up on the gaming industry, switched to a different line of work, and managed to find a job, but my friend couldn’t seem to land one and I think he became mentally unstable.
From there, our opportunities to meet gradually decreased, and I eventually learned of his suicide from another acquaintance.
Honestly, perhaps it’s inevitable that people like me and paid modders would face misfortune just for being in a place like this, but whose fault is it that such a sincere person died?
I can’t help but wonder that.
And I suppose my current actions are probably just me taking it out on others.
My subscription will expire in a month, so this behavior will likely end then. Probably

It's sad, and I won't delve into the truth of this story.
I'll say this from personal experience. I don't want to blame the system, because the topic is relative, but I can be certain of one thing: your friend must have suffered from long-term depression. People can hide depression so that you don't notice it.
Nobody commits suicide overnight.
especially not for such a trivial reason, which is an everyday occurrence for people. It had to be, at most, the final trigger.
Many of my friends have committed suicide, each with long-term mental health issues.(even my grandfather hanged himself a few months ago) I've struggled with depression for 60% of my life, and I've had countless suicidal thoughts. Fortunately, I've long since overcome that (although the depression still lingers deep within).
To escape this, people took drugs, medications, alcohol, and any other substance to numb themselves. Even gas to lighter(I don't recommend it, slowmo, like you're dying, something shit feeling like when Kurotsuchi, Mayuri slowed down the pace Grantz, Szayel Aporro.)
suma sumarum it is like a cancer that must be overcome with a strong will as steel.
Attitude, the environment you live in, ego, many relative things, sometimes it's worth thinking that you could have it worse, sometimes it's worth changing your priorities, sometimes it helps.
I could write a book about it and then I realize there are people in much more fucked up situations than I've experienced.
in my life, no father, no mother, orphanage where a nun tortured children, these are just a few percent of my life.
which gave birth to this "cancer" in me.
But we must live with this, not haved choice bro.
So don't blame places where the problem definitely isn't, because believe me, you don't even know why it happened. Worse still, thinking about it makes you depressed.

The problem is exactly the opposite that you're painting it
Paywalling would be fine if it was a reasonable amount, or on a voluntary basis (see Yurabe)
Anything above $5 for a card or a scene is highway robbery.
Most paywallers do not allow the sharing, reproduction or use of their, and a few begrudgingly ask to be credited, which is effectively the same as IP rights, and under which rules stuff like Comiket would not be allowed to exist.
The problem is, once again, that they themselves violate IP rights using characters they do not own, etc.
And so far, paywallers have managed to make more people leave Koikatsu than join it. Once again because of the steep buy-in, but also because no one wants to get into a game where every bit of content is DLC.
The overall point is, you're building your stuff off a mountain of content that was made available for free, and you wouldn't be shit without it existing before you. And you likely wouldn't have become a paid content creator if you had to pay for all and every single one of these mods and plugins.
So accept people will share your stuff without your consent, and people who actually want to support you will, just like you are using content that, would the creator have known your personally, may have denied you the right to use it to make paid content yourself. If anything, I think almost every single JP creator out there clearly states on the free content they distribute that it's not allowed to use it for commercial use, and for not a single second has that stopped the paywallers.
See Unica, they almost permanently left because other creators wouldn't stop using their scenes to make paid content.
And finally, a ton of creators have proven over these last few years that they didn't care for a single second for the game, just for the capacity to make money off of it, and vanished the instant the money wasn't where they wanted it to be. Extremely ironic because, as we all know, most of the very best creators are either 100% free or use the early access model.
Saying my arguments are 'extreme' clearly shows you haven't seen some of the insanity paywallers have been displaying about trying to secure their content and hunt down leakers.
EDIT: rereading myself, just point out the 'you' is used figuratively, this isn't calling you out specifically.
And I agree with what @matonashi said, much more eloquently than me.
The core and the entire basis for my opposition to paywalled content is based on the fact that this is exactly how you get in legal trouble, and is behind a lot of the problems that exist nowadays in the weeb community.
Demanding payment for content made with IP rights you do not own is exactly how you get the Eye of Sauron to look your way and entire fan communities nuked in the process, or even worse, attract bad actors like what happened with FAKKU and the owner started doing aggressive deals with IP rights owners and then unleashed legal hell on anyone else who published their magazines.

First of all what are you on about, how is this comparable also I was just taking a fun jab at how narrow your point of view is and somehow now i am the reason why greedy corpo exist. People asking money for a task that took them time and effort is a fair concept, its literally what the world is based upon, the problem arises when these people get greedy and try to pay themselves 200 usd an hour for a subpar job. Also lets not forget how annoying it is to learn how to make mods for KK with most documentation being outdated or hidden in comments in the KK discord, needing knowledge in third party programs like blender, unity, SB3Utility shitty UI; I understand why people might demand support instead of asking, not that i agree i just understand which seems a foreign concept to you given how small minded you are.
